Melanie Chase has been immersed in the insurance industry from a young age, she began working summers at her father’s brokerage when she was just 12. After obtaining her broker's license in 1995, she started full-time as a customer service representative and advanced through various roles, including leadership and management. In 2022, Melanie joined West Elgin Mutual, now Salus Mutual, as an underwriter and later took on the role of Sales Lead in 2023.

Born and raised in Elgin County, Melanie is a dedicated mother of three sons—two grown and one living at home with her and her spouse. In her free time, she cherishes moments up north with her family, and enjoys swimming, cooking, and baking.

As the Learning and Development Manager, Melanie is passionate about developing, coordinating, and facilitating training programs. Her goal is to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within our organization, contributing to both employee satisfaction and the success of Salus Mutual.
